What Is SPC Flooring with Click Systems?

SPC stands for stone plastic composite or stone polymer composite. SPC flooring is a rigid core vinyl flooring product made mainly from natural limestone powder, polyvinyl chloride and stabilizers. It is waterproof, dimensionally stable, high density and suitable for residential and commercial flooring applications.

A typical SPC flooring structure includes UV coating, wear-resistant layer, PVC decor film, SPC core and optional IXPE/EVA underlay. The click system is processed after board cutting and allows planks to be installed without glue. Accurate slotting is therefore critical for installation strength, seam tightness and finished flooring performance.

Full Production Process of SPC Flooring with Slotting

The double end tenoner slotting machine is normally used after SPC board extrusion, UV coating and cutting. It can be followed by optional V-groove painting, IXPE/EVA backing lamination, inspection and packing.

1. Crushing and Milling

SPC production waste can be crushed and milled into powder for recycling into the raw material system after proper screening and quality control.

2. Mixing

PVC resin, calcium carbonate, stabilizer and additives are mixed uniformly in a high-speed mixer, then cooled to prevent agglomeration and discoloration before extrusion.

3. Extrusion
